| VULNERABILITY DETAILS |
This vulnerability allows attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations of Apple QuickTime Player. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists in the parsing of AVC1 atoms. An integer overflow condition is present that can result in a heap chunk being under-allocated. This heap corruption can be further leveraged to execute arbitrary code under the context of the current user. |
