VULNERABILITY DETAILS


This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations of Microsoft Internet Explorer. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.

The specific flaw exists within reusing a CElement object after it has been freed. This object can be used after freed by the setCapture event method. An attacker can leverage this situation to execute code under the context of the user running the browser.
