VULNERABILITY DETAILS


This vulnerability allows remote attackers to gain information about the layout of memory on vulnerable installations of Adobe Reader DC. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.

The specific flaw exists within the handling of the createSquareMesh function. The issue lies in excess values being returned in the error message when improper arguments are given. An attacker can use this information in conjunction with other vulnerabilities to execute arbitrary code under the context of the process.
