VULNERABILITY DETAILS


This vulnerability allows remote attackers to delete arbitrary files on vulnerable installations of Cisco Prime Collaboration Provisioning. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability.

The specific flaw exists within the licensestatus.jsp page, which listens on TCP port 443 by default. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of a user-supplied path prior to using it in file operations. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to delete any file accessible to the root user.
