VULNERABILITY DETAILS


This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations of Oracle Fusion Middleware MapViewer. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability.

The specific flaw exists within the FileUploaderServlet servlet. When parsing the fileName parameter, the process does not properly validate a user-supplied path prior to using it in file operations. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code under the context of the current user.
