This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations of Novell ZENWorks. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.

The specific flaw exists within \Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\ISGrid2.dll. If the bstrReplaceText parameter exceeds its statically-allocated length then a buffer overflow will occur. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary code on the system in the context of the user running the browser.
