Oracle Java LDAP Deserialization Remote Code Execution Vulnerability
Vulnerability Details
This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations of Oracle Java. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.
The specific flaw exists within the handling of LDAP deserialization. An attacker can use a custom LDAP server to create objects in restricted packages, and leverage this to disable the Java sandbox and execute arbitrary code in the context of the user.
