Vulnerability Details

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations of Panasonic FPWIN Pro. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.

The specific flaw exists within parsing of project files. A specially-crafted project file can cause a heap buffer overrun in a memcpy call. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current process.
