Oracle PeopleSoft HttpListeningConnector Server-Side Request Forgery Vulnerability
Vulnerability Details
This vulnerability allows remote attackers to initiate arbitrary server-side requests on affected installations of Oracle PeopleSoft. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the HttpListeningConnector class. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of a URI prior to accessing resources. An attacker can leverage this in conjunction with other vulnerabilities to execute arbitrary code in the context of the service account.
