Progress Software Kemp LoadMaster enablexroot Use of Hard-Coded Cryptographic Key Privilege Escalation Vulnerability

Vulnerability Details

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to escalate privileges on affected installations of Progress Software Kemp LoadMaster. Authentication is required to exploit this vulnerability.

The specific flaw exists within the enablexroot API endpoint. The issue results from the use of a hard-coded cryptographic key. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary code in the context of root.
