Microsoft Windows Deployment Services Use-After-Free Remote Code Execution Vulnerability

Vulnerability Details

This vulnerability allows network-adjacent attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Microsoft Windows Server. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability. However, only systems with Windows Deployment Services enabled are vulnerable.

The specific flaw exists within the WDSServer service. The issue results from the lack of validating the existence of an object prior to performing operations on the object. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of SYSTEM.
