ASUS Control Center Express Agent Missing Authentication Remote Code Execution Vulnerability

Vulnerability Details

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of ASUS Control Center Express Agent. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability.

The specific flaw exists within the Remote Desktop endpoint, which listens on TCP port 10637 by default. The issue results from the lack of authentication prior to allowing access to functionality. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the user logged on at the console of the target machine.
