Vulnerability Details

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to disclose NTLM responses on affected installations of Foxit PDF Reader. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.

The specific flaw exists within the implementation of the importIcon method. The issue results from the failure to apply a protection mechanism. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to disclose NTLM responses in the context of the current user.
