Apple OS X WindowServer Memory Corruption Privilege Escalation Vulnerability

This vulnerability allows local attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations of Apple OS X. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.

The specific flaw exists within CoreGraphics. By interacting with PKGTransactionWillSwitchSpaces, an attacker can cause a memory corruption condition. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code under the context of the WindowServer.
