Autodesk Design Review JFIF Buffer Overflow Remote Code Execution Vulnerability

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations of Autodesk Design Review. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.

The specific flaw exists within the handling of JFIF files. The issue lies in the failure to ensure that decompressed contents fit within the allocated buffer. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code within the context of the current process.
