Adobe Flash Player MediaPlayer Out-Of-Bounds Access Remote Code Execution Vulnerability
Vulnerability Details
This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations of Adobe Flash. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.
The specific flaw exists within the handling of MediaPlayer objects. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data which can result in a memory access before of an allocated object. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code under the context of the current process.
