Trend Micro InterScan Web Security Virtual Appliance WmiDCDetector getAdHost Command Injection Remote Code Execution Vulnerability
Vulnerability Details
This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations of Trend Micro InterScan Web Security Virtual Appliance. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within WmiDCDetector's getADHost method. A crafted domain parameter can trigger execution of a system call composed from a user-supplied string. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code under the context of the current user.
