TripAdvisor Browsable Intent Arbitrary URL Loading Privilege Escalation Vulnerability

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to escalate privileges on vulnerable installations of TripAdvisor. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.

The specific flaw exists within the handling of browsable intents. The issue results from improper validation on user-supplied URLs. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to escalate privileges to resources normally protected from the application.
