This vulnerability allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive information on vulnerable installations of LAquis SCADA Software. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.

The specific flaw exists within the processing of the TextFile.Read method. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of a user-supplied path prior to using it in file operations. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to disclose sensitive information from the context of the current user.
