This vulnerability allows remote attackers to create arbitrary files on vulnerable installations of OMRON CX-Supervisor. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the parsing of project files. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of a user-supplied string which can lead to arbitrary file creation. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current user. |
