This vulnerability allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive information on affected installations of Advantech WebAccess/NMS. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability. The specific flaw exists within the processing of calls to the getDeviceName method of the DBUtil class. When parsing the syslogs parameter of the emsSyslogs endpoint, the process does not properly validate a user-supplied string before using it to construct SQL queries. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to disclose files in the context of SYSTEM. |
