(Pwn2Own) Synology DiskStation Manager dnsauth.php Missing Authentication Information Disclosure Vulnerability
Vulnerability Details
This vulnerability allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive information on affected installations of Synology DiskStation Manager. This vulnerability does not require authentication, but does require some user interaction.
The specific flaw exists within the dnsauth.php endpoint. The issue results from the lack of authentication prior to allowing access to functionality. An attacker can leverage this in conjunction with other vulnerabilities to execute arbitrary code in the context of root.
