Vulnerability Details
This vulnerability allows network-adjacent attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Lorex 2K Indoor Wi-Fi Security Cameras. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the processing of requests sent to TCP port 9876. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in a read past the end of an array. An attacker can leverage this in conjunction with other vulnerabilities to execute code in the context of root.
