Fuji Electric Tellus pcid64 Driver Untrusted Pointer Dereference Denial of Service Vulnerability

Vulnerability Details

This vulnerability allows local attackers to create a denial-of-service condition on affected installations of Fuji Electric Tellus. An attacker must first obtain the ability to execute low-privileged code on the target system in order to exploit this vulnerability.

The specific flaw exists within calls to methods in the pcid64 driver. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of a user-supplied value prior to dereferencing it as a pointer. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to create a denial-of-service condition on the system.
